1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Dreylock Limited (“Sideline TV”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a UK private limited company, with its registered address at Office One, 1 Coldbath Square, Farringdon, London, EC1R 5HL, United Kingdom, collects, uses and protects personal data when people who live in the United Kingdom or any country outside the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United States use sidelinetv.com and related services (the “Service”).

Dreylock Limited is the controller of your personal data for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and similar laws.

If you have questions, contact us at support@sidelinetv.com.

2. Personal data we collect

2.1 Data you give us

  • Account data: your email address, password (stored only in hashed form), country of residence, and any profile details you choose to add.
  • Subscription and billing data: your plan, billing history, billing country or address, and the last digits, type and expiry date of your payment card. Full card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
  • Preferences: sports, leagues, teams, events and game alerts you follow or set up, and your notification settings.
  • Communications: your name, email address, the topic and content of messages you send through our contact form or by email, and any information you include in them.
  • Age confirmation: your confirmation that you are 18 or older.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language settings, referring page, pages requested, and the date and time of requests. This is recorded by our servers and content delivery network.
  • Approximate location: your country or region, inferred from your IP address. We use this to show you the terms and policies for your region, apply content licensing restrictions, set prices and taxes, and prevent fraud. We do not collect precise GPS location.
  • Usage data: how you interact with the Service, for example the pages and sections you view, the buttons and links you click, the sports, leagues and matches you open, and the streams you watch.

We may keep data for longer where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and using payment processors that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

9. Your rights

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • delete your data;
  • data portability: receive data you gave us in a structured, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. This does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew.

To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form and choose “Privacy request”, or email support@sidelinetv.com from the email address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within 45 days, or within the time limit set by applicable US state law. We will not charge a fee except where the law permits.

10. Additional information for US state residents

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas or Oregon, you have additional rights:

  • Categories of personal information. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as name, email, IP address and click IDs), commercial information (subscription and purchase history), internet and network activity (usage data), approximate geolocation, and inferences about your sports preferences. The sources, purposes and recipients are described in sections 2, 3 and 5.
  • Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law. Account login credentials are used only to provide and secure your account.
  • Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing advertising click IDs and conversion information with advertising and affiliate partners may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, or as a “sale” or “targeted advertising” under some state laws. You can opt out by using Cookie settings or by emailing support@sidelinetv.com. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out request.
  • Your rights. You may request to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Marketing communications and alerts

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. You can manage game alerts and notifications in your account settings or device settings. Even if you opt out of marketing, we will still send service messages about your account and subscription, such as receipts and renewal or price-change notices.

12. Children

The Service is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when this policy was last changed.

14. Contact us and complaints
